White Mage Gearswap- “Dressed for all occasions!”

I won't post my own gearswap in here, as it's not really everyones cup of tea, I personally believe in using one you made yourself, and if not, probably best to use one made by a notable. person IE Mote who made Kinematics Gearswap files that are used by the majority of gearswap novice users.

Motes Treasure Cove

A quick one I made up would look something like this... (this is for a mule and is missing updated gear) If you use this, it is only a reference point for making your own sets, this is more to show you different rules etc available etc.

My Gearswap

For those of you using Ashita2 and AshitaCast, see below. This is very similar to Spellcast and processes instant cast rules just like gearswap does.

My AshitaCast XML

And for those wanting to use Motenten's but up to date versions, here's Krystela's Gearswap files.

Krystela's Coveted Booty (No I'm not changing the pun Krystela!)

Also a lot easier to maintain, especially with the ability to add others to it for editing purposes.

I don't take credit for most of this, this is mostly just to change / update some areas and mostly gearsets IE: the recast and stuff was calculated incorrectly (the math made no sense on multiplicative although his theory was correct the number he got was out there.) but it's far from finished, and melee sets will take a while...

I got sick of reading through 22+ pages for sets and figured everyone else would be too.

Now that I'm starting to get some decent gear (forged relic, etc) I'm going to have to start using Gearswap it looks like, I've been putting it off for shear lazyness.

Will gearswap handle moving stuff around in your inventory for you as well? or do you need to have it all in inventory/Wardrobe?

You can make another addon do it for using /put and /get commands but its painful and slow. ie one thing at a time not 50 so I would personally stick to inventory / wardrobe.

In the Auspice section, should be a note about how under the effect of afflatus misery, you can give party members an acc bonus if you miss the target, caps at +30 acc (from BG) its a nice bonus especially high lv content.

Does light arts fast cast 10% bonus breaks 80% cap?

No it does not. The 80% casting time reduction is a hard cap (just like 80% delay reduction or 87.5DT).
It's also not additive to FC, iirc, it's multiplicative.

Much appreciated, I noticed this question wasn't answered in the guide so I added it as a footnote in the Scholar Section.

@Luloo you would stil need 78% fastcast to get to 80% cast time reduction with the 10% multiplicative value from Scholar.

How to calculate: 1 being normal cast time
Code
(1-0.1)x(1-0.78)=

I would love to however the info on BG is ambiguous and the

Accuracy provided by this Buff is not caught by Checkparam and the original testing done was on Killingifrit which has closed, the wayback machine isn't finding this site either making this very hard to not only see he testing but also back it up.
Quote:
When utilized with Afflatus Misery active, Auspice grants an additional effect of light damage on melee attacks performed by the WHM, and cumulatively increases accuracy with each missed attack.

This could be read either way.

I'll add either way but noting its unverified.

How would this even be monitored Server side? X member of party has X JA active and Auspice active. P2 has Auspice effect on - P1 drops misery, does the server then send an update to p2 or is this just affecting p1? seems like the later in all honesty.

From reading the jp wiki on Auspice, it seems like the whm him/herself is the only one who gets the enlight + acc bonus benefit.

source here:
Quote:
ハートオブミゼリ中に使えば、パーティメンバーもエンライトや命中ボーナスが得られるかのような表記になっているが、実際に上記効果を得られるのは、『ハートオブミゼリ中である白魔道士のみ』である*1。

Loosely translates to "When used with Afflatus Misery, the blurb above(It's talking about the effect and the dmg on enlight effect and how you should confirm with your fellow pld/drk before using) implies that the whole party will gain the effect of enlight + acc bonus, but in actual fact only the white mage with Afflatus Misery active will gain these bonuses."

So if this is true then only the whm gains those effect if and only if he/she keep Afflatus Misery up(?).

Probably pretty easy to find out... if anyone cares enough XD
